How to connect Internet using Airtel in nokia 2700 ,also in window XP user's :
if you are using Airtel GPRS Rs. 98 monthly Pack and
Can't connect to the internet Using GPRS, but none of the Page is opening,
and Getting any Error in all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE). ; i corrected this problem:
if u do not have setting of airtel Internet
- First Phone Nokia 2700 Setting :-
1.Firstly, You have to Recharge Rs.98 GPRS pack,
2.Now you can access Internet
3.Go to -> Settings ->Configuration -> Personal Config. Sett.->options->add new->
Access Point
4. In Access point type set Account Name :- airtelgprs.com and
then Access point setting ->data bearer
->choose packet data ,then ->Bearer settings
-> packet data acc. pt.->airtelgprs.com (do not change other options in Bearer settings).
and saved ->again go to options -> Activate
- if airtelgprs.com not working , you can also use airtelwap.com ,airtellive.com
5.Authentication Type – Normal
6.Then restart your phone.
- Second Your PC Settings:- You have to Connect you mobile to pc
via data cable and bluetooth :-
1.You have to install nokia pc suite and configure manually :-given below,
Access Points:- airtelgprs.com
username:- blank
password:- Blank
Additional commands components :- Blank
==> To connect directly choose ->select your network operator from the list -> choose airtelIndia -> click OK , DON't GO TO STEP 2.....
2.Go to Control Panel ->Phone and modem options->click modem tab->
click active modem properties->
then click on Diagnostics tab of nokia 2700 usb modem properties
->click in query modem button
->after click show text in text box , it means your modem is connected with PC
and then click ok .....
3.Restart Your PC and browse the Internet
